The businessman Donald Trump proposed to Croatia's officials for their country to host Miss Universe beauty pageant, in return for the possibility of his investments in hotels and golf fields on the island of Brioni.
In the offer, Trump requested from Croatia to participate in funding of the event, whose total value is estimated at 1.5 billion dollars.
However, it was reported that Croatia rejected the offer, explaining that an investment of several million dollars amid the global economic crisis would not be a wise idea.
Nonetheless, the experts said that ! by organ izing the Miss Universe, Croatia would profit by securing a promotion worth at least 200 million dollars, in addition to the fact that NBC network would be responsible for live coverage of the event. (makfax.com.mk)
