Alexandra Helga Ívarsdóttir is a beauty queen who won the titl! e of Miss Iceland 2008, and is representing Iceland in Miss World 2008 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Alexandra was born and grew up in Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland. Reykjavik is the most northern capital city in the world, founded in 1786, it has been named by United Nations 'the best country to live in' as it is one of the cleanest and safest cities in the world. Alexandra is now in her third year of a four year course at college, it is her ambition to become a psychologist. Sporting and leisure interests are: fitness, out door activities, family, friends, travel, looking after her German shorthaired pointer dog, listening to music (excluding heavy metal), and dance ( she took ballet for 7 years and jazz ballet for 4 years). Favourite food is: Reindeer steak; also chicken salad. Personal motto would be: "To be the change you wish to see in the World".
Last Friday Dec 5, 2008. She won Miss Wold Sport 2008 in Miss World 2008 Pageant.
